How to enable multi-factor authentication (MFA/2FA)?

Multi factor authentication (MFA/2FA) is strongly recommended by T2M URL Shortener to add an extra layer of security to your account.

Follow these simple steps to enable 2FA on your T2M account:

  1. Login to your T2M dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Account Settings > Profile & 2FA page.
  3. Under "Enable Two-factor Authentication" section, scan the QR code with any TOTP authentication application (such as Google Authenticator, Authy, Microsoft Authenticator) on your phone.
  4. Enter 6-digit code generated by the authentication app into the code field.
  5. Click on the "Activate 2FA" button and you're done.
Note: Always test the 2FA process after enabling it. Simply, logout and try to login again.

You can do more on this "Profile & 2FA" page:

  1. Manage your profile details such as: name, company name, and more.
  2. Change your default T2M short domain.
  3. Change your dashboard timezone.
