Contact our support team to add this feature to your plan. Once this feature is added to your account, a short URL's query string will be automatically attached to your destination URL before redirecting visitors. You can also use our UTM Builder to easily add UTM parameters to your shortened URLs.
This feature can be very useful in tracking best performing social media platforms, influencers and much more.
Use Cases:
- Targeted Marketing: The same short URL can be used for different targeted marketing campaigns by adding specific UTM parameter values. These parameters can be attached to the destination URL upon redirection, allowing you to track these values in your own analytics attached to your destination website.
- Social Media Campaigns: Use the same short URL on multiple social media platforms by adding unique UTM parameters for each platform. For example,
https://YourBrand.co/MyCampaign?utm_source=facebookandhttps://YourBrand.co/MyCampaign?utm_source=instagram. This allows you to track and compare the performance of each platform easily. - Influencer Tracking: When working with influencers, assign unique UTM parameters to the short URLs they use.
