You and your associates are able to mark DWG documents without making changes to an existing drawing. So, your colleagues can leave a trace via the web or mobile device and indicate the changes they want to see in the drawing. “Trace” can then be opened inside AutoCAD on the desktop, where your colleague’s feedback will be automatically displayed to you, within a DWG document where you can make changes immediately.
Technically speaking, it is a multi-platform digital workflow that allows you to collaborate with your team wherever they are while simplifying the drawing review cycle.
The “Share” Function Enhances Collaboration
With the “Share” function, you are now able to securely share drawings with your team and colleagues directly from AutoCAD. You can also select access levels, such as “View Only” or “Edit” and send copies of the drawings to your team, whose security you can absolutely manage. You can generate a sharing link from AutoCAD and the AutoCAD web application. Links are opened directly in the web application.
